Freshman sensation Lukas Verzbicas is listed as running the Chicago Shamrock Shuffle 8k this Sunday. With his recent 14:18 indoor 5,000m. performance, Lukas is looking at a mid to low 24 minute 8k, which can put him in contention for a top five performance. Some of the top runners competing are Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifiers and sub four minute milers. It will be fun to see this young kid mix it up with the big boys.
