Hurricane On My Season

While some of you are starting your seasons and worrying about small distractions, such as the heat, sloppy conditions, getting shoes, etc..., others around the country are worrying about hurricanes! Coach Brendan Minihan Jr. from Metairie Park County Day School in Louisiana wrote an article called "Louisiana Runners: Run For Your Life." Some quotes from the article follow:

"Running keeps me sane. It kept me sane through Katrina and it's keeping me sane now. It's what I do."

"We can get away from the insanity and just run for a while and afterwards feel better physically and mentally. Running can salvage us and save our lives."

"Running is part of you. It will always be with you. Now go lace up your shoes and go for a run."
