This example starts off with a three week build-up, one week recovery cycle and ends with a two week build-up, one week recovery cycle. This schedule is based on single runs each day. Doubles will not be introduced until after 70 miles a week, which will occur in the 1000 Mile Summer.
Again, don't get caught up in the numbers. A 750 mile summer is a 62.5 mile per week average. Each weeks miles can fluctuate and the total summer miles can be a little under or over the 750 total. 750 is not a magic number, just an example of a strong total for a summer.
